Come and meet the FEW Group ladies!!  The second Thursday of each month, we get together for a good olde  "chin wag"!!

Registration would be grand -  as this just allows me to make an accurate Restaurant reservation.

MARCH MONTHLY DINNER

SPECIAL EVENT - INFLAGRANTI BAR FOR SUSHI / WINE AND SOME DANCING!!
Time: 07.30pm                                      Participants: maximum 40 ladies.
Details:  We have arranged a special Wine and Sushi night for F.E.W Group ladies.

Menu is based upon 4 F.E.W Group ladies per cocktail table.
1 X 40 piece Sushi Plate (10 Pieces of Sushi per person)
1 X bottle  of wine  ( Lugana St. Benetto White wine or Primitivo Merlot Red Wine)
1 X bottle of water on each table.

Calling for all raquet nuts and social ladies, who love playing regular tennis and are searching for a-bit-of outdoor/indoor fun! Please join us then, for a game of tennis and bring along your girlfriends!

Then wait no longer, and join our FEW Group Ladies Tennis Team. 

Our Tennis Group has women from all over the Fribourg area, who want to play regular social tennis throughout the year. This group is open to all FEW Group Members and guests who would like to enjoy other social activities including happy hours after tennis, tennis outings and many others.

Where:                    Agy Centre, Granges Paccot   OR     L'Aiglon in Villars-Sur-Glane.
Time:                        8pm - 9pm
Day:                           Every Wednesday Night.

The FEW Group Monthly MOVIE CLUB, simply involves watching some particularly noteworthy films and having a friendly chat about them later. Not so much from an academic or critical point of view, but just from a personal and fun point of view, discussing what you got out of each movie and how it fits into the world of cinema at large.

The idea is to make it sort of like a “book club” but for MOVIES, where we announce what we’re going to watch ahead of time.  Then you see the film and then follow along with Margaret after wards for a nice glass of wine, fondue, dinner etc... depending on the timing of the film.

Where:                  Cinemas around the Fribourg area.
Date:                       2nd Tuesday night of every month.

Second Night:    9th March, 2010.

The FEW Group Book Club is a fantastic way of bringing some of the expat women together on a regular basis to enjoy some wine, cheese, tea, and coffee and discuss a ‘book of the month’.     Where possible we will watch the associated movie to give us a different perspective to discuss on the night. We will also organize ‘theme nights’ that will take place at different venues around the Fribourg area.

When and Where?  Book Club night will take place on the first Tuesday of every month from 7.30pm – 11.00pm at Gemellis Restaurant, Fribourg.  We will also organize different ‘theme nights’ that will take place at different venues around the Fribourg area.

What do I need to do?    Read a book once a month, and keep the first Tuesday of every month free. 

How do I join?  Registering is so simple-all details will be in our Weekly Activity letter and our Newsletter Chew the Cheese.

WAY MORE FUN THAT JUST THROWING BALLS DOWN A TENPIN LANE!!

Some consider it a sport, others assume it's only for old folk, some people just go there to hang out with friends over a beer and some just play for pure fun!  Why don't you just come along and make-up your own mind about the bowling mystery!

The FEW Group Bowling gang are a relaxed bunch of "girls and guys" who are all down to earth, friendly and love having a good "laugh".  If you haven't bowled before it's not a problem - it's easy to pick up and just play.  Bowling is always fun, social, active and is never affected by the Fribourg weather. It definately makes a great change from standing in a pub or sitting at a restaurant drinking and chatting during the winter months that are fast approaching.

Location:           Fribourg Bowling Centre,  Rue Saint-Pierre 6, 1701 Fribourg.

Participants:    Girls / Partners / Guys / Friends - anybody who wants to pick up a ball, play, and have some fun!

Every Thursday morning between 9.00am to 11.00pm we have the Mothers coffee morning and childrens play date arranged upstairs in the Manor Restaurant Manora, Route De Moncor 1, Villars-sur-Glane, Fribourg.   

Just pop along and meet the FEW Group women for  a nice coffee, a good olde chat, make new friends and watch your children play together.
